Laura Kaminski
Grants and Contracts Manager

Laura Kaminski has worked for the Commission since 2002 and currently supports a variety of projects in her role as the Commission’s Grants and Contracts Manager. These include the Michigan Clean Water Corps (MiCorps), Great Lakes Air Deposition (GLAD) Program, Great Lakes Tributary Modeling Program, and a variety of other initiatives related to water quality and the minimization of nonpoint source pollution within the Great Lakes region. In addition, Laura coordinates the Commission’s grant and contract reporting activities and assists with budget and proposal development for the organization.

Prior to joining the Commission, Laura worked as an environmental consultant doing Phase I environmental site assessments and as a Federal Emergency Management Agency contractor on the implementation of the National Flood Insurance Program. Laura holds a B.S. in environmental geology, an M.S. in resource policy, and an M.B.A. in nonprofit management and organizational behavior from the University of Michigan.
