Position available: Web Services / Database Development Application deadline: Friday, July 27, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. EDT. The Great Lakes Commission is seeking an individual to fill the position of Program Specialist with database, web services and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) application experience . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled person with technical skills and an interest in emerging Internet and geospatial application technologies. The job requires commitment to excellence and the ability to function in a small collegial team environment. The job is a full-time, renewable 12-month appointment and it requires on-site work in our Ann Arbor, Michigan office, five days a week. The Great Lakes Commission offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and optical insurance. The Commission also has an outstanding pension program through the TIAA-CREF program.
