Dr. Thomas R. Mueller is the Director of the Crime Mapping Center at California University of Pennsylvania. The Crime Mapping Center serves as a repository for data storage and as a site for data analysis, including spatial analysis of data and the production of crime maps. It also serves as a training site for police and others involved in crime prevention, investigation, and enforcement. Dr. Mueller has worked at California University of Pennsylvania for 6 years and became an Associate Professor in 2005. He assisted in the development of the University's new Geography major with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Emergency Management concentration, and he has become the co-advisor to the major. Dr. Mueller received his B.S. in geography from Towson University, his M.A. in geography from the University of Connecticut, and his Ph.D. in geography from the University of Illinois. In 2005, he earned his GIS Professional Certification.
