Charles K. Toth holds Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Geo-Information Science from the University of Budapest, Hungary, and is currently a Senior Research Scientist with The Ohio State University Center for Mapping. He is a Certified Photogrammetrist (ASPRS) and has been active in both ASPRS and ISPRS serving as Chair of the Photogrammetric Applications Division of ASPRS (2004-2006) and U.S. Correspondent to ISPRS Commission I (2004-2008). He was awarded an ASPRS Presidential Citation for Meritorious Service (2000), and First Place, ESRI Award for the best scientific paper on GIS (2005). He is also a member of IEEE, ION and SPIE.
