With Recommendations
For Conservation and Restoration Planning
The Coastal Habitat Assessment
synthesizes socio-economic and ecological data and information compiled
between August, 2002 and December, 2004. The assessment focuses on a 10
mile buffer zone around Lake St. Clair. Through a series of modeling
efforts based on the latest scientific information, the assessment also
includes priority areas for coastal habitat conservation and restoration
and guidelines for habitat conservation and restoration. The
assessment responds to and builds on the Lake
St. Clair Management Plan and other activities to establish binational
management goals and objectives for Lake St. Clair.
The Assessment is available
