Lake St. Clair Coastal Habitat Restoration and Conservation

As an initial project kick-off, Commission staff organized and participated in a 3-day Lake St. Clair tour along with staff from NOAA Coastal Services Center and Michigan Natural Features Inventory. The tour included site visits to Walpole Island; St John's Marsh, Algonac State Park and Harsen's Island on the U.S. side; and Tremblay Beach and Ruscom Shores Conservation Areas on the Canadian side.
