Conference Overview
The 5th Binational Lake St. Clair Conference was held March 30-31, 2010 in Windsor, Ontario. The conference, Managing Lake St. Clair for an Ever Changing Environment, provided a forum to discuss critical issues and review programs, policies and institutions responsible for managing the lake. Over 100 attendees gathered to participate and offer recommendations for improving environmental conditions in Lake St. Clair and its watershed. Over the two-day conference, participants heard from over 25 speakers, including keynote addresses from the International Joint Commission, Environment Canada, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, among others. Topical presentations were given across the following thematic areas:
