Policy positions summarize the Great Lakes Commission’s point of view on a given topic or issue, established through formal actions such as adoption of resolutions, communications to the U.S. Congress and other formal joint action of the Commission membership. Policy positions serve as a reference source for Commission members and other stakeholders to learn about the Commission’s past and present positions on issues of regional importance.
