Meng joined the Great Lakes Commission in 2019. As a data/GIS analyst, Meng supports data curation and management across the agency and analyzes data and related information on key Great Lakes issues.

Prior to joining the Commission, Meng spent two years working on an environmental management team in the utility industry at Entergy Services, Inc, where she focused on environmental analysis in Avian Protection Program (APP), Waste Management and Spill Responses. She also has two years of work experience as GIS tech support and program coordinator for two research projects at Eastern Michigan University.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in natural environmental resources and urban-rural area planning from the University of Hainan, China, and a Master of Science degree in environmental policy and planning from the University of Michigan, School of Natural Resources and Environment.
