Victoria Pebbles – Program Director
Victoria Pebbles is a Program Director with the Great Lakes Commission where she facilitates multi-disciplinary project teams to address complex ecological and socio-economic challenges facing the Great Lakes region. She currently leads the agency’s water quality, water infrastructure and “Blue Accounting” programs to advance sustainable water management and support ecosystem services across the binational Great Lakes region. Ms. Pebbles holds an M.S. from the University of Michigan, and has held previous positions with that University as well as the U.S. Senate, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Over the past 25 years, she has published dozens of articles and reports, delivered copious presentations, and served on numerous advisory groups addressing environmental policy, science, and management. Her emerging body of work focuses on transferring lessons learned among transboundary water resource management across the globe.
