The Line 5 oil and natural gas pipeline across northern Wisconsin went back online Monday, three weeks after a broken valve caused 1.3 million gallons of natural gas liquids to spill into the nearby Iron County town of Saxon. After the August 25 spill, Enbridge immediately began construction to bypass the broken valve and get the pipeline back up and running despite warnings from the state Department of Natural Resources that Enbridge did not have  the proper permitting.  Read the full story by the Vernon Reporter.
