The workshop will take place November 17-18, 2026 in Buffalo, NY at the Alumni & Visitor Center at Buffalo State University and online. The event builds upon a similar 2021 event in the Lake Michigan basin, this time bringing together U.S. and Canadian federal, state, provincial government staff as well as dredging companies, researchers, NGOs, engineering companies, harbors, and others for a collaborative discussion of the methods, research, and criteria used to establish dredging windows and waivers across New York, Ontario, Pennsylvania, and Québec.
While there is no fee to attend, registration for both in-person and virtual attendance is required.
