Josh Miller – Director of Programs
Josh Miller serves as director of programs for the GLC’s suite of water quality/water use, invasive species, habitat, resilience, GIS, and other initiatives. In this role, he assists the executive director with overseeing and guiding the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs to achieve the commission’s strategic goals consistent with the Great Lakes Basin Compact.
Josh most recently served in research coordination with the U.S. Geological Survey’s Great Lakes Science Center where he assisted in strategically developing and achieving long-range goals to support Great Lakes ecosystem restoration and management priorities. He holds a master’s degree in natural resources and environment from the University of Michigan and bachelor’s from Huntington University. He resides with his family in a small agricultural village on the River Raisin in the western Lake Erie watershed.
