Kate Truitt – Senior GIS/Data Analyst
Kate Truitt is a senior GIS/data analyst working across multiple program areas at the Great Lakes Commission including Aquatic Invasive Species, Blue Accounting, Water Management and Infrastructure, Resiliency, and Nutrients and Nonpoint Source Pollution. In this role, she assists in mapping and data development for each program area and their individual project needs.
Prior to coming to the Commission, Kate worked for Ducks Unlimited for one year as a GIS intern working to update the U.S. Fish and Wildlife’s (USFWS) National Wetland Inventory (NWI). She holds a bachelor’s degree in earth science and a GIS Certificate from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
