Communications

One of the core services provided by the Great Lakes Commission (GLC) is communications and outreach. The GLC shares information that raises public awareness, supports effective decision-making, and promotes Great Lakes stewardship. Per the Great Lakes Basin Compact, the GLC is responsible for collecting, correlating, interpreting, and reporting on data relating to the water resources and the use thereof in the Great Lakes basin; and preparing and publishing reports, bulletins, and publications on its work and recommendations.

Great Lakes Email Groups

The GLC administers a number of email subscription groups on Great Lakes issues, including the popular Great Lakes Announce group.  Provided through Google Groups, these groups deliver news and information directly to your inbox, and serve as a great way to keep up-to-date on Great Lakes regional issues and events from multiple organizations and Great Lakes stakeholders.
