A new car and passenger ferry traveled through the Soo Locks last week on the way to its new home on Christian Island on the Canadian side of Lake Huron. The ferry will be serving the Beausoleil First Nations community and can carry up to 150 passengers, more than 30 vehicles and cargo between the island and the nearby mainland.
