The F.T. Barney, a two-masted schooner, collided with another ship on Oct. 23, 1868, and quickly sank to the bottom of Lake Huron. According to the NOAA Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, divers can clearly see its intact stern cabin, erect main mast, and a cargo hold still full of coal off the coast of Rogers City, Michigan.
