A Lake Superior shoreline restoration project is nearing completion in Marquette, Michigan. The Superior Watershed Partnership began the project in 2017 with $2 million in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and a $2.5 million National Coastal Resiliency grant that the city of Marquette is matching.
