Are Great Lakes still iced over? How much ice cover remains

Michigan’s recent warm spell brought 60-degree days to much of the state and melted a significant amount of ice on the Great Lakes. Great Lakes researchers reported just over 35% ice cover as of Friday. Read the full story by the Detroit Free Press.
