Lake Ontario has hit flood stage, according to the latest data from the International Joint Commission. The lake is forecasted to remain above its flood stage (247.3 feet) for at least the next week and a half. Currently, there’s no immediate risk of widespread flooding; however, low-lying areas should be wary of wind and wave patterns that can push water onshore.
