After a year-long pause caused by low Lake Huron water levels and the retirement of the previous operators, Turnip Rock boat tours in Port Austin, Michigan, are returning under new owners. Favorable spring rains raised lake levels by about 20 inches, allowing the popular excursions to resume, and the new operators have added online booking while continuing to offer scenic trips past Turnip Rock and the nearby lighthouse.
