Help restore and protect the Huron River in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and have a good time! Volunteer with other citizen scientists of all ages and experience levels to collect all kinds of river bugs and creatures. Pollution-sensitive creatures help determine the health of the Huron River and steer action to restore and protect it. Volunteers meet at the Huron River Watershed Council’s office in Ann Arbor (1100 North Main Street). Groups will then carpool to two different sites within the Livingston/Oakland/Wayne/Washtenaw Counties. Children are welcome to attend with an adult.
