The 2019 Michigan Watershed Summit is hosted by the Michigan Water Environment Association, partnered with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. This event takes place on Wednesday, March 27, in East Lansing, Michigan. The purpose of this summit includes:
- Bringing together as many of Michigan’s watershed groups as possible
- Providing an opportunity for speakers from other organizations to share information and updates
- Giving these groups a chance to interact with and learn from each other
- Facilitating discussion on current status, concerns and outlooks regarding Michigan’s water environment
Topics of this year’s summit include: dam removal, soil health practices, wetland banking programs, stream restoration, keeping watersheds healthy, and much more! View the complete agenda here.
