The Stewardship Network Conference will be held January 17-18, 2020, in East Lansing, Michigan. Each year, hundreds of professionals, students, and volunteers from an array of environmental fields gather to share their setbacks and successes; technological advancements and analytical techniques; diverse perspectives and artistic expressions as we collectively find the best ways to care for our land and water. Sessions include topics such as prescribed fire, climate change mitigation and resilience, invasive species controls, community engagement, and essential skill development.
Keynote speakers include Laura Rubin, director, Healing Our Waters – Great Lakes Coalition, and Mamie Parker, the first African American chairman of Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries Commission and Northeast regional director, U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
