Lakes Michigan-Huron water levels are expected to peak during July at their highest level recorded since accurate records began in 1918. Erosion is to be expected throughout Fall 2020 with these high waters being the enabler of shoreline damage.
Michigan Sea Grant is hosting a free webinar from 6-7 p.m. on July 22 to help shoreline property owners, tribal and municipal officials, and others understand options related to high water level issues.
Guest Speaker: Margaret Boshek, Great Lakes coastal engineering practitioner.
