With Michigan at the eye of the storm this year, Michigan LCV is laser-focused on electing leaders who will prioritize protecting the health of our communities, hold polluters accountable, and ensure an equitable democracy. The unprecedented events of 2020 have shown increasing evidence of disproportionate impacts on minorities and low-income communities, and we need strong leaders who are committed to tackling these challenges head on.
On October 14, we will be joined by state and local leaders who have shown outstanding dedication in addressing climate change, ensuring equitable access to clean water and air, and protecting Michigan’s most treasured natural resources. Michigan LCV is proud to be honoring: Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist, and Detroit activist, Theresa Landrum.
