Webinar: Let’s Talk Lake Superior – Habitat and Species Protection

December 14

On Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 10 a.m. CST (11 a.m. EST), join us for a one-hour public webinar as we talk about habitat and species protection in Lake Superior.

Learn about the nature and importance of habitat and species in Lake Superior from Ann McCammon-Soltis from the Great Lakes Indian Fish & Wildlife Commission. Come hear Jessie McFadden from Lakehead Region Conservation Authority speak about the Superior Stewards Shoreline Protection Program, which is engaging community members in shoreline protection in Ontario. Also hear from Geri Grant of the Superior Watershed Partnership and Chris Kovala from Ottawa National Forest who will discuss the restoration work done in Two-Mile Creek in Michigan and how it improves fish passage in this important cold-water stream habitat.

This is a virtual webinar hosted on Zoom and is the latest in our webinar series, Let’s Talk Lake Superior!
