On April 1st, 2022, Annex 9 (Climate Change Impacts) of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement (GLWQA) will be hosting their 7th webinar from climate change webinar series. The topic for the webinar is Chicago’s Climate Action Plan!
Come hear from Dr. Ned Gardiner and Edith Makra about the 2021 Climate Action Plan for the Chicago Region, which is one of the first regional climate plans in the United States. Dr. Ned Gardiner is the Engagement Manager for the U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit and Edith Makra works for the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus as the Director of Environmental Initiatives.
After the webinar, Annex 9 will be hosting their quarterly business call, where they discuss updates from the annex, provide information on upcoming events, and allocate time for anyone to promote their recent publications or relevant research. Feel free to join for that portion of the time as well.
