September Adopt-a-Beach

We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, September 17, 2022, for a Great Lakes day of action as we work to reach our goal of 500,000 pounds of litter removed from Great Lakes shorelines!
Thousands of Adopt-a-Beach volunteers will clean and celebrate Great Lakes shorelines as part of the International Coastal Cleanup.
It’s easy to jump right into the Adopt-a-Beach community.
Sign up for September Adopt-a-Beach today! You can take part in two ways:
-Find an Adopt-a-Beach cleanup near you and sign up at adopt.greatlakes.org. A Team Leader will meet you at the beach with all the supplies!
-You can also become a Team Leader at greatlakes.org/teamleader and host your own September Adopt-a-Beach cleanup with friends, family, or community members. We have lots of resources to help you organize a successful cleanup at greatlakes.org/resources!
