Join us as we dive into the world of invasive plants and how they can disrupt the delicate balance of Lake Ontario’s ecosystem. We will provide a comprehensive overview to invasive plant species in Lake Ontario, from identification to ecological impacts. We will also highlight two invasive species of interest, hydrilla and water soldier, both of which are expanding their extent throughout the Lake Ontario basin. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions of our experts during an interactive Q&A session and learn what actions you can take to stop the spread of invasive species in Lake Ontario.
