Great Lakes Calendar

The Coastal Symposium will feature plenary, invited, and submitted presentations, networking opportunities, workshops, and field trips for conservation practitioners, scientists, students, coastal wetland stakeholders, and community members. The theme this year is Great Lakes, Greater Resilience: Conserving Coasts and Sustaining Communities​.

Over the course of three days, participants will explore efforts to restore resilient coastal systems across all the Great Lakes while highlighting restoration project successes along the heavily impacted coastline of Lake Ontario, and with a spotlight on Braddock Bay, NY. A call for presentations will go live at the end of April. Registration and accommodation details are forthcoming. A hotel room block will be held for this event at Hyatt Regency Rochester.

This event is organized by Audubon Great Lakes, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, SUNY-Brockport, and Great Lakes Coastal Assembly.
