The Great Lakes Commission Semiannual Meeting public events took place March 3, 2026. Great Lakes Day, featuring the annual Great Lakes Day Congressional Breakfast Reception, took place March 5, 2026. This event is hosted yearly by the Great Lakes Commission in partnership with the Northeast-Midwest Institute and is open to the public. Great Lakes Day includes dialogue on Great Lakes priorities by regional leaders and members of Congress who play a critical role in shaping Great Lakes policies.
