The iconic Great Lakes sailing race that’s bringing 1,600 sailors to Michigan this summer

The 2026 Bayview Mackinac Race will feature 203 boats competing in the century-old sailing tradition. Approximately 1,600 sailors will take to the water on July 18, launching from Port Huron and racing to Mackinac Island across two courses. Read the full story by MLive.
