Revolving Loan Funds (RLF), often administered through state revolving funds (SRFs), have been a hallmark mechanism for providing low-interest loans to local communities and other entities for infrastructure projects. Such funds are commonly associated with drinking water infrastructure, but as the climate change impacts become more pronounced, SRFs have emerged as a valuable tool in funding projects that enhance coastal resilience through habitat restoration and other nature-based solutions.
In this webinar, experts with SRF experience, including EPA’s long-standing Clean Water Revolving Fund (Alison Souders), FEMA’s new Safeguarding Tomorrow program (Rhiannon Kincaid), and on-the-ground project applications (Michael Roberts), will provide an overview of the process and give examples of how they have been used.
