Fellow researchers from around the world will gather online May 17-21, 2021, for IAGLR's 64th annual Conference on Great Lakes Research.
Please join the Society for Freshwater Science for our first ever virtual meeting! We are enthusiastic about hosting a program focused on the theme of transformation.
The Great Lakes Fishery Commission will hold a public Annual Meeting online, on May 26-27, 2021. At this meeting, the public can learn about and discuss developments in the Great Lakes fishery. Commissioners and the U.S. and Canadian Committees of Advisors will hold meetings here as well.
The Great Lakes Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species is pleased to announce that it will host its 2021 spring meeting virtually on June 14-16. The meeting will feature a public information session on didymo (Didymosphenia geminata).
The Dredging Summit & Expo ’21 is a technical conference organized by the Western Dredging Association (WEDA) to promote the exchange of knowledge in fields related to dredging, navigation, marine engineering and construction. The 2021 expo theme is: Dredging: The Impacts of Climate Change.
The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Water Resources Regional Body will meet on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Council will also meet on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is announcing a public meeting of the Great Lakes Advisory Board on August 30, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. CDT and August 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time with remote participation only.
On September 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. EDT, the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers will be hosting a webinar focusing on maritime transportation, including the launch of the GSGP’s 5-year GSGP action plan; smart shipping, green shipping and other strategies to increase economic value and environmental performance.
On September 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. EDT, the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers will be hosting a discussion focusing on water infrastructure—including racial equity, environmental justice and inclusion in economically disadvantaged areas.
The Interagency Ecological Restoration Quality Committee (IERQC) Monthly Webinar Series will present A Synthesis of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and the Perceived Benefits for People and Nature, by Matthew Jurjonas, The Nature Conservatory.
