Taaja Tucker-Silva – Senior Data Analyst
Taaja joined the Great Lakes Commission in 2023 to provide data analysis support to the GLC’s portfolio of invasive species and water resources projects, including the Phragmites Adaptive Management Framework and GLDIATR.
Previously she held several positions at the U.S. Geological Survey’s Great Lakes Science Center researching Great Lakes food webs, fisheries, and invasive Phragmites. A lifelong Michigander, Taaja has a bachelor’s degree in fisheries and wildlife from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in conservation biology from Central Michigan University. In her free time, she enjoys drawing comics, designing video games, and tending to her wild yard and many pets.
