Great Lakes Fishery Commission Annual Meeting

Detroit, MI

The 64th Annual Meeting of the Great Lakes Fishery Commission takes place on May 29th and 30th, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza Downtown Detroit Riverfront in Detroit, Michigan. The Great Lakes Fishery Commission was established in 1955 by the Canadian/U.S. Convention on Great Lakes Fisheries.

Celebrate Water Summit

Door County, WI

Celebrate Water Door County is proud to present the 2019 Water Summit. A year of celebration and education will culminate with a three day summit June 4-6, 2019. The summit is sponsored by Healthy Water Door County, a fund of the Door County Community Foundation. This three-day summit will be held at the Landmark Resort in Egg Harbor, featuring a keynote speaker, educational sessions, and field trips.

Western Dredging Association (WEDA) Dredging Summit and Expo

Chicago, IL

The Dredging Summit & Expo ’19 is a technical conference organized by the Western Dredging Association (WEDA) to promote the exchange of knowledge in fields related to dredging, navigation, marine engineering and construction. It will provide a forum for improvement of communications, technology transfer, and cooperation among associations & societies, while emphasizing the importance of understanding and development of solutions for problems related to the protection and enhancement of the marine environment.

GreenTech 2019

Cleveland, Ohio

Green Marine is heading back to the Great Lakes for its 12th annual GreenTech conference. GreenTech 2019 will take place at the Cleveland Westin Downtown Hotel from June 5-7, 2019. The conference will discuss issues directly related to Green Marine environmental certification’s performance indicators, such as greenhouse gas emissions, and community relations/impacts.

IAGLR’s 62nd annual Conference on Great Lakes Research

Brockport, New York

Fellow researchers from around the world will gather in Brockport, New York, on the shores of the Erie Canal for IAGLR's 62nd annual Conference on Great Lakes Research. Hosted by The College at Brockport, State University of New York, the conference will feature four days of scientific sessions and speakers focusing on our theme Large Lakes Research: Connecting People and Ideas.

2019 Great Lakes Public Forum

Milwaukee, WI

The Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement calls for the U.S. and Canada to convene the Great Lakes Public Forum once every three years to discuss the state of the lakes and progress made under the Agreement, and to provide an opportunity for public input. We are pleased to announce that the next Great Lakes Public Forum will be held in Milwaukee, WI at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center Hotel on June 17-19, 2019.

Green Infrastructure Champions Knowledge Transfer Workshop

The Green Infrastructure (GI) Champions program is excited to announce a Green Infrastructure Champions knowledge transfer workshop in Gary, Indiana, in partnership with the City of Gary. Great Lakes St. Lawrence River Basin Regional Body and Compact Council Meeting

Indianapolis, IN

The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Council (Compact Council) will meet on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana. This meeting will be open to the public and will include an opportunity for public comments. Remote participation will also be available. Additionally, the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Council (Compact Council) will meet immediately following the Compact Council meeting.

Partnering to Mitigate Harmful Algal Blooms across the Midwest and Beyond
