Green Marine is heading back to the Great Lakes for its 12th annual GreenTech conference. GreenTech 2019 will take place at the Cleveland Westin Downtown Hotel from June 5-7, 2019. The conference will discuss issues directly related to Green Marine environmental certification’s performance indicators, such as greenhouse gas emissions, and community relations/impacts.
Fellow researchers from around the world will gather in Brockport, New York, on the shores of the Erie Canal for IAGLR's 62nd annual Conference on Great Lakes Research. Hosted by The College at Brockport, State University of New York, the conference will feature four days of scientific sessions and speakers focusing on our theme Large Lakes Research: Connecting People and Ideas.

The Green Infrastructure (GI) Champions program is excited to announce a Green Infrastructure Champions knowledge transfer workshop in Gary, Indiana, in partnership with the City of Gary. The workshop will take place on June 20th, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Genesis Convention Center in Gary.

The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Council (Compact Council) will meet on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana. This meeting will be open to the public and will include an opportunity for public comments. Remote participation will also be available. It’s summer – and that means for a lot of communities harmful algal blooms (HABs), or blue green algae, are top of mind. Tune in to this month’s The Current webinar as we hear from the Network’s Mitigating HABs team as they discuss their soon to be released white paper cataloging Extension and state-based algal bloom programs and resources and outlining recommendations for HAB messaging and resources moving forward.
