Discover the past with us on the historic U.S. Brig Niagara! Live aboard the ship for a college-level program focusing on the fundamentals of square-rig seamanship and comparative public history. Program begins and ends in Erie, PA, and will include sailing voyages to the major maritime museums and monuments of Lake Erie.

The Great Lakes Fishery Commission will hold a public Annual Meeting May 27-28, 2020, in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario.  At this meeting, the public can learn about and discuss developments in the Great Lakes fishery. Commissioners and the U.S. and Canadian Committees of Advisors will hold meetings here as well.

For the past 27 years, the River Institute has hosted an annual Symposium to bring together researchers and stakeholders to explore issues and challenges facing large rivers and their watersheds. This sharing of knowledge is powerful as it leads to a better understanding of fresh water resources and ecosystems, as well as the development of strategies for renewal and protection.

The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Water Basin Resources Council (Compact Council) will meet on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, via webinar conference call.  The meeting will begin immediately following the adjournment of the meeting of the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Water Resources Regional Body, expected at approximately 2:45 p.m. EDT.  This meeting will be open to the public and will include an opportunity for public comments.
