The habitat restoration projects in the Maumee Area of Concern currently cover 4 locations within the Maumee River watershed. The Penn 7 Restoration Project was completed in 2022 and relevant documents can be found here. This project is part of the Ohio EPA monitoring program, which is part of the delisting process for the AOC. As such, biological monitoring data will not be available on this site. Water levels were monitored prior to, during, and following restoration in adherence to NOAA Tier-1 monitoring guidelines for hydrologic restoration.

The project funding was provided via the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) through a Regional Partnership with the Great Lakes Commission.
